The College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) at Qatar University is the largest of QU’s colleges, contributing to the very core of the university. It offers diverse degrees at the undergraduate and graduate levels. CAS is the home of 10 academic departments and17 undergraduate programs, in addition to six graduate programs. CAS is proudly home to seven accredited degree programs.
In addition to the above, and in order to foster a culture of research , three research centers were established in Fall 2013; the Gulf Studies Center, Sustainable Development Center, and Humanities and Social Sciences Center.

The College of Business and Economics (CBE) at Qatar University is a premier educational institution and the home of four academic departments, four undergraduate programs, and two graduate programs, in addition to an executive program.
At CBE, students and faculty are in constant touch with the fast-paced, ever-changing business world, so they are always ahead of the curve. CBE has been accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) since 2009. The College has also partnered with top business institutions in the State of Qatar.
The college’s Center for Entrepreneurship (CFE) works on a variety of entrepreneurship research; it focuses largely on involving university and industry to study different facets of business and commercial activities.
The College of Education at Qatar University was the first institution of higher education in Qatar, and the only institution for teacher preparation. We are committed to being a leading institution of education professionals in order to shape the future of the nation. The College of Education has two academic departments, two undergraduate programs— each with their respective concentration, and two graduate programs, in addition to four post-baccalaureate diploma programs. The College of Education has been accredited by the International Recognition of Teacher Education Programs Agency (IRTE) since 2010.
The College of Education is constantly involved in various intermural and internal funded research projects, the Educational Research Unit is committed to achieving research excellence and building capacity by providing students and faculty with a supportive environment for scholarship and developing effective collaborative partnerships in research nationally and internationally. The College of Engineering (CENG) at Qatar University is a leading institution that provides unique opportunities for innovative education and research. The College aims to educate its students and provide them with abilities to succeed as engineers that are sought after in the professional world and graduate schools. The College of Engineering is home to seven academic departments, nine undergraduate programs, and eight graduate programs. Seven of the college’s bachelor degree programs are accredited by Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET).
The College of Engineering’s outstanding faculty, researchers and students conduct research in a variety of areas. CENG is home to three centers and two laboratories.
The College of Health Science (CHS) was founded in 2016 following a 30-year success story as a department within various colleges at Qatar University. CHS is the national provider of high quality health sciences education and research in Qatar and offers undergraduate (BSc) programs in biomedical sciences, human nutrition and public health, as well as graduate programs; (MSc) in biomedical science and master of public health (MPH).
Through internationally accredited academic programs, high quality student services, well equipped laboratories, accessible facilities, and a dynamic, diverse and talented faculty team, the college offers its students an extraordinary and rich learning environment.

The College of Law is committed to providing its students with the finest legal education that shall equip them for unparalleled professional success. The college consists of the law program, which is the Bachelor Degree in Law (LLB). The current student population is about 800, with faculty strength of 50 highly educated and diverse academics supported by a team of motivated administrative staff.
College of Law has launched its own legal journal, published by Bloomsbury Qatar Foundation Publishers, named the International Review of Law.
The College of Pharmacy is the first and only pharmacy degree program in the State of Qatar. The College of Pharmacy currently has three approved academic degree programs that have been designed to provide the necessary knowledge, skills and attitudes for a successful career in pharmacy and the pharmaceutical sciences. The College of Pharmacy has been awarded the status of Full Accreditation from the Canadian Council for Accreditation of Pharmacy Programs CCAPP (Canada) for its Bachelor of Science program in Pharmacy for the six year term 2012 – 2018 and Full Accreditation for its Doctor of Pharmacy program in Pharmacy for the four year term January 2014 - December 2018.
The research mission of the College is to create and disseminate knowledge related to drug entities, products, therapy and medication use for the purpose of advancing health outcomes and quality of life.
