Operational Measures on Public Hygiene
The Law No. 18 of 2017 on Public Hygiene aims at regulating public hygiene in Qatar. For example, the law presents regulations related to waste collection and disposal, sanitation in public places, dumping waste and highlights responsibilities of pet owners with regard to public hygiene.
Examples of the responsibilities of municipal authorities with regard to the services provided in the context of public hygiene in the country are addressed in articles 10-11:
