Office of the Associate Dean for Research & Graduate Studies
The Office of the Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Studies assists the Dean in the administration of the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), and oversees all aspects of graduate programs and research activities. It closely works with the Dean, the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, and the Assistant Dean for Students Affairs to sustain and advance the academic mission of the College.
THE OFFICE’S RESPONSIBILITIES ARE:
- To strengthen the research capacity and output of the College of Arts and Sciences by increasing the number of research projects and publications, and enhancing research collaboration within the college and across campus.
- To promote, enhance and facilitate research and graduate studies at the college, and liaise with the Dean for Graduate Studies and Office for Research Support.
- To oversee the development and management of the graduate student support programs, the special scholarship programs, and other research support initiatives.
Our office staff is dedicated to serving the CAS research community and looks forward to working with each faculty and graduate student to support their research and graduate programs.
