Mission
The Physics Program, under guidance of the University of Qatar’s general mission aims to:
- Develop in students a mastery of the application of physics and mathematical principles.
- Provide a more advanced discussion of basic physics principles and their applications.
- Facilitate the development of critical thinking skills and effective oral and written communication.
- Equip students with the necessary analytical skills to solve practical problems and develop appropriate design solutions based on a thorough understanding of technology, instrumentation and techniques.
- Prepare students for careers in the health field, science teaching, industry, technical sales, government and private laboratories.
