The Bachelor’s degree in Primary Education program is a 4 year degree that consists of 120 credit hours over 4 years or 8 semesters (including a significant field experience component).The language of teaching is Arabic. Students will choose one of four specialization tracks:
Program Plans:
- Track 1: Early Childhood
- Track 2: Math and Science
- Track 3: Arabic Studies ( Arabic language, Islamic Studies and Social Studies)
- Track 4: English
Outline of Degree:
All students in the B.Ed program, regardless of their strand of specialization, will take the following:
- 34 CHS University Core
- 36 CHS Education Core
- 44 CHS Required Courses in Major. These include discipline - specific pedagogy and content course
- 6 CHS Electives
- 120 CHS Total
