Students will:

• Acquire concepts of different characteristics, etiology and education considerations of people with disabilities.

• Apply the principles of testing procedures and diagnosis using established simple tests to assess different abilities.

• Implement educational programs appropriate to the cognitive and affective needs of individuals with disabilities.

• Present the highest standards of professional and ethical practice in the classroom and in the internship settings.
