Academics often ask themselves what does it take to be successful in research?
Why do faculty members have to change direction in research? Do they have to? Where and how does one start a new research direction? Are there guidelines for selecting research partners? Is there a risk? These questions are neither trivial nor easy to answer, and yet they have to be addressed. This seminar is aimed at sharing some experiences from the speakers and putting this in perspective to encourage others to consider new research directions in order to support the department and college research aspirations. |
