The Human Resources Department's Orientation is a program offered prior to the start of the semester for our new respected faculty joining Qatar University. For the 2016-2017 academic years; the Human Resources orientation program will take place From the 16th of August 2016 to the 23th August 2016 and the official start date of the Fall semester for faculty members is Sunday, August 28, 2016.
The orientation program will include information on the University’s organization structure, applicable rules and regulations and administrative processes. In addition, The HR orientation will enable new employees to initiate or finalize their recruitment process, Qatari residence permit, banking services, telecommunication and mobile lines, and other administrative/ settlement matters.

Yahala - Academic Orientation for New Faculty
Yahala to Qatar University. Yahala, in our Arab culture is the best welcome one can wish to a new colleague. The Academic Orientation for new faculty members is scheduled in September 6, 2015; a few days before classes start for the academic year 2015-2016. The event will take place at Ibn Khaldoon and QU Library. The event will provide you with valuable information about Qatar University strategic vision, programs, and numerous resources that will support you to continuously enhance the quality of your work and life in Qatar.
The President, Vice-President for Academic Affairs, leaders and faculty members from colleges and programs at Qatar University will be looking forward to meeting with you to facilitate your integration in our community.
