1. How can students send their test scores to Qatar University?
To send scores to Qatar University Testing Center:
ACT: Please log in to your ACT account and send scores to us. Qatar University’s recipient code to send ACT scores is 5305.
TOEFL iBT: Please log in to your TOEFL iBT account and send scores to us. Qatar University’s recipient code to send TOEFL iBT scores is 8943.
SAT: Please log in to your SAT College board account and send scores to us. Qatar University’s recipient code to send SAT scores is 5264.
GRE: Please log in to your GRE account and send scores to us. Qatar University’s recipient code to send GRE scores is 7569.
IELTS: To send IELTS test scores, please request your test center to send us the IELTS test scores at the following address:

Please be informed that it takes 4-8 weeks for us to receive test scores from test providers. Hence, we recommend having your test scores sent to us at your earliest convenience.

2. Can students register for the IELTS online?
As of now, we do not have an online registration option for IELTS exams conducted at Qatar University.

3. How can students register for the IELTS exam and what should they bring with them to complete the registration?
IELTS registration can be done at Qatar University Testing Center, located in Building H12 (College of Medicine). Women’s registration is done in Room 154 & men’s registration is done in Room 150.

4. Is there a specific date for registering for an exam?
Registration date for each exam is announced via Qatar University’s broadcast system and, specific information on the registration date can be obtained by calling our Student Services Coordinators.

5. How long are test scores valid for?

*A test score is no longer valid if it is older than the validity period from the start of the first day of the intended class.   Students with scores older than the validity period must retake the test. 

6. What are the ID Requirements for the various tests conducted by Qatar University Testing Center?

 *Candidate must bring the original required ID document. Candidates are not allowed to test without presenting their valid original ID as per test requirements. Photo copies of the ID are not considered as valid ID for a test.

7. What is the difference between ACT Residual and ACT International?
ACT Residual in an institutional test and the scores are valid for that institution only. However, ACT International is an international test and the test scores are accepted globally.
We don’t accept ACT Residual test scores from any other institution.

8. Are calculators allowed in the ACT & ACCUPLACER Math tests?
Calculators are allowed in ACT Residual and ACT International tests as per the policy by the test providers. Please check ACT’s website for more information for a complete of list of prohibited calculators. Physical calculators are not allowed in the ACCUPLACER Math test. However, if a calculator is required for a particular question it will be displayed on the screen.

9. Are there any test preparation training programs provided by Qatar University?
Yes, we do have training programs for the IELTS, ACT, GMAT, and GRE tests. Training programs in Qatar University are managed by the Continuing Education Office. For more information, please check the Continuing Education Office website: http://www.qu.edu.qa/offices/ceo/

10. Do we accept the New SAT Math scores?
Yes, we accept both Old & New SAT Math scores.
SAT Math scores required for QU are:
