In order to continue enhancing the cooperation between the American Bar Association (ABA) and the College of Law (LawC), Terence Blackburn- Dean and Professor of law Emeritus, Egypt Program Director Middle East and North Africa - visited the LawC on Wednesday, 16 December 2009.

 In his one - day visit, Professor Terence met the dean Dr. Hassan Al-Sayed, and had two meetings with the LawC Quality Assurance Committee. Moreover, he met Dr. Sheikha Bint Jaber Al- Thani, QU Vice President of Academic Affairs.

On Thursday, 17-December-2009, Angela Conway from the ABA arrived to Doha and met with Professor Terence & Dr. Hassan Al-Sayed, to discuss the cooperation and the common issues between the LawC and the ABA.  

The Quality Assurance Committee, is one of the active LawC committees, headed by Dr. Mekhled Al- Tarawnah, has four of the LawC faculty members as members.
