College of Education ranks among top 300 Universities according to The Shanghai International Ranking of Universities

The College of Education at Qatar University (QU) has made remarkable progress compared to the previous year according to The Shanghai International Ranking of Universities according to specializations (Social Sciences) 2020, it has ranked 301-400 globally based on the criteria of one of the strongest and most important international classifications, which indicates the advanced academic level achieved by the faculty in this particular field.
Expressing his sentiments on this occasion, The Dean of College of Education, Dr. Ahmed Al Emadi said: “This classification is a reflection of the college's efforts to maintain international standards in its academic programs in order to excel and provide academic outputs of international quality. It is also an international recognition that the college has become a reference for students, academics and educational leaders in State of Qatar in relation to (education) according to international education standards.”
“This ranking will motivate us to develop ourselves over the next two years in the hope that we will be among the top 200 colleges. On this occasion, I would like to thank the President of the University, Dr. Hassan Al-Dirham, and the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Omar Al-Ansari. Especially those who spared no effort to provide all necessary resources to help the college and raise its status,” he added.
