Dr. Hassan Al-Derham said during his address, “Most societies today are working hard to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, which today are the most important part of the world's infrastructure. The Education for Justice (E4J) initiative seeks to prevent crime and promote a culture of lawfulness through education activities designed for primary, secondary and tertiary levels. These activities help educators teach the next generation to better understand and address problems that can undermine the rule of law and encourage students to actively engage in their communities and future professions in this regard.

Commenting on his participation in the event, Mr. Marco Teixeira said, “This workshop aims to support Qatar University's efforts in the field of sustainable development and all related to crime prevention and justice, which is at the heart of the office's cooperation with universities and higher education institutions.”
