Will sponsor CENG’s activities and events during the academic year 2017-2018

Qatar University College of Engineering (QU-CENG) recently signed a collaborative agreement with Dolphin Energy Limited to sponsor CENG’s activities and events during the academic year 2017-2018.

The agreement was signed by QU President Dr. Hassan Al Derham and Dolphin Energy General Manager – Qatar Mr. Hassan Al-Emadi, in the presence of officials from both institutions.

In the terms of the agreement, Dolphin Energy Limited will sponsor some of the events that CENG is organizing during the academic year 2017-2018 such as Engineering Week, Computing Contest, Senior Design Contest, Traffic Safety Ambassadors Program, and others.

Commenting on the agreement, CENG Dean Dr. Khalifa Al-Khalifa said: “CENG is pleased to partner with Dolphin Energy to foster CENG’s educational and awareness programs. This agreement aligns with CENG’s commitment to provide the community with outreach activities that aim to enrich the students’ experience in the engineering field and to provide them with the skills and abilities that help them join the workforce and become future leaders. This partnership also comes as a continuation to the series of cooperation with Dolphin Energy. It will add great value to education and outreach at QU, and will contribute significantly to CENG programs output as a whole.”

Dolphin Energy General Manager – Qatar Mr. Hassan Al-Emadi said: “We are delighted to partner with Qatar University and extend our relationship with the College of Engineering. We will focus on a range of activities over the academic year aimed at raising awareness among youths and the local community towards engineering science and STEM programs. These are designed to support the country’s continued growth and development and we look forward to making a significant contribution.”
