LAWC Students Dialogue with Top Young Qatari Professionals

Over 40 LAWC students attended a discussion forum on April 24 delivered by high level guest speakers in government, industry, and law as part of the guest speaker series of the College’s Externship Program.
The 3 guest speakers -- Khalid Al-Jufairi, ExxonMobil Adviser on Government and Public Affairs; Moza Al-Is’haq, Doha Oasis Co-Founder and Communications Officer in the Office of HH Sheika Moza bint Nasser; and Ahmed Saud Nasser Al-Oteibi, Prosecution Assistant in the Office of the Attorney General --are young, ambitious Qatari professionals holding prestigious positions in top organizations in Qatar. 
They spoke of their individual career paths  and discussed a number of areas with the students such as professionalism, life after graduation, , work responsibilities, and offered advice on job hunting, interning, and related topics. 
The Externship Program runs in conjunction with the College’s Externship Class which is the first practical skills course whereby students can earn academic credit for gaining first-hand legal experience with practicing lawyers, judges and legal professionals in a supervised setting.
