Environmental Inspection Program Welcomes MoE Personnel
Over 49 employees of the Ministry of Environment are expected to graduate from the Environmental Inspection Program conducted by the Continuing Education Office. The remarks were made by the Continuing Education Director Dr Tajalsir Kardaman at the recent orientation session of MoE employees who are enrolled in the program.
Welcoming the group, Dr Kardaman noted that the Environmental Inspection Program is the first of its kind in Qatar. “Our highly-qualified graduates will assist their departments at the Ministry to develop a process of environmental inspection in line with global standards”, he said.
He added: “We are inspired by VP and Chief Academic Officer Dr Sheika Jabor Al-Thani to change the teaching curriculum this year in a way that focuses on practical skills in conjunction with theory. It also places importance on students participating in field visits to relevant environmental sectors as well as attending local environmental conferences to widen their knowledge and strengthen their theoretical processes”.
