Based on cooperation agreement between MoE and ESC, a comprehensive training course was given to 26 employees from Environmental Inspection Department at MoE in order to gain a certificate in “Fundamentals of Environmental Monitoring Inspection”. The program included some relevant knowledge in chemistry, physics, and biology.

It worth mentioning that the content of the biology course were developed by Dr. Ekhlas Abdul-Bari, and the tutorial work was assigned to Ms. Noura AL-Fardi, a specialist in biologic science at ESC. The course included basics of environmental concepts, and biogeochemical cycle. It also included topics about the forms, sources, and effects of pollution and the prevention methods.

For the purpose of expanding the observational skills at them and as part of the course material, the MoE trainees accompanied Dr. Ekhlas Abdul-Bari, Dr. Ibrabim Almaslamani and Ms. Noura AL-Fardi to a field trip to Aldakhira area.
