As the Chief Academic Officer, the Vice President and Chief Academic Officer’s duty is to work closely with Qatar University President, Vice Presidents, College Deans and Directors of academic units and centers, as well as collaborating with other nonacademic units on Qatar University campus to enhance the mission of the university.
The Vice President and Chief Academic Officer also provides leadership for Qatar University Libraries, the Office of Faculty and Instructional Development (OFID), the Continuing Education Office, the Scholarships Office, and coordinates with the offices of Students Affairs, Planning and Development, Institutional Research, and Information Technology Service Department as well as working closely with other nonacademic units including Human Resources and other administrative offices.
