Qatar University provides a large number of academic and financial need-based scholarships each academic year. These scholarships are available to undergraduate and graduate students. The College of Pharmacy, in affiliation with its clinical partners, also provides scholarship awards for undergraduate and graduate students. In 2011, Ebn Sina Medical generously supported five scholarship awards based upon academic performance and future promise to the profession. These and other scholarship awards are expected to be conferred on an annual basis.

In 2012, Sidra Medical and Research Center initiated a scholarship program to help students obtain the necessary qualifications to begin a career with this organization. Sidra supports students in clinical majors and research programs, including the degree programs in the college. Commencing in November 2011, the Higher Education Institute of the Supreme Council for Education (HEI SCE) recognizes the College of Pharmacy Doctor of Pharmacy and MSc (Pharm) degree programs amongst the 910 best universities and colleges from around the world. The list identifies the best universities for scholarship recipients based on international ranking criteria to achieve the best academic and research outputs and allows parents to choose the best option for their children.
