Scholarships
Qatar University supports a wide variety of scholarships recipients each academic year in order to attract highly qualified students. The majority of academic scholarships are awarded based on academic merit and scholarly achievement,. However, some are offered based on financial need. The College of Pharmacy, in affiliation with its clinical partners, also provides scholarship awards for undergraduate and graduate students. Since 2011, Ebn Sina Medical generously supports five scholarship awards annually based upon academic performance and future promise to the profession.
For MSc students, Qatar University offers Graduate Assistantship (GA) awards on a competitive basis to select newly admitted graduate students applying from inside Qatar as well as from other countries. Applicants who satisfy admission requirements and eligibility for the assistantship will be considered for the award. Graduate assistants are full time postgraduate students registered toward the fulfillment of a graduate degree requirement at Qatar University. Full Scholarships from Pre-Pharmacy until the completion of BSc or any postgraduate degree in Pharmacy are available to Qatari students through the Ministry of Administrative Development Labour and Social Affairs.
