Arabic for Non Native Speakers

Applicants must have a Baccalaureate (minimum requirement) or be university/institute graduates
Preference is given to applicants nominated by an official body (ministry, embassy, religious society or an educational establishment)
Applicants must not be over forty years old
Candidates are chosen relative to the number of applicants from each country
Preference is given to countries that have cultural agreements with Qatar in general and the University of Qatar in particular
Priority is given to the applicants from the countries that have not previously received scholarship for enrollment in this program.
Applications are processed according to the applicant’s grades and teaching experience
Priority is given to the applicants who are working in the service of Islam and the Arabic language or has recently converted to Islam
Scholarship awarded to females &males, however double chance is assigned to males.
Nomination for applicants to be awarded the scholarship is carried on by the college committee during Jan-March (for each year)
