QU-Active: Health and wellness programs
Special programs and training courses designed to raise participants’ awareness about the importance of exercise and its impact on health, psychological and academic status, as well as to promote individual well-being. These programs aim to enrich the sports culture of the participants.
- Biggest Winner Program for the QU community
- Qatar University-Active program (fitness, aerobics and bodybuilding) for men and women
- Swimming training sessions for beginners
- Workshops in first aid and dealing with sports injuries, in collaboration with HMC
- Awareness workshop on anti-doping, in collaboration with the National Anti-Doping Committee
- Tennis courses for QU families and their children
- Volleyball basics course for male students
- Field hockey basics for male students
