QU Virtual Tour
What is this?
Welcome to the Qatar University Virtual Tour! This is an interactive tool to help you learn more about the campus, as well as know what you may expect to see upon arrival. Please enjoy, and see all that our wonderful (and growing!) campus has to offer.
How does it work?
The tour is designed to present you information on 3 levels;

an overview map of campus

A zoomed-in map with accurate photos by location
-
A panoramic image with detailed information about specific buildings.
To see these levels, simply move the mouse over a section of the map; the section will glow, and a drop-down list appears. If you place the mouse over the list, you can see where a specific building is, and click on it for detailed history. If you click on a glowing section, it will zoom-in and show you photos from specific locations in that area.
Is there a standard map?
Certainly! Qatar University provides this tool as a virtual tour; if you would like to view a more traditional map of campus with a full listing of locations and search function, please use the searchable map to the right.

Finding locations:
You may move the mouse over any location name to see that location highlighted on the map above. Similarly, if the mouse is moved above a location on the map, both the location and its respective listing will highlight below. We recommend you give it a try and see!
How to zoom:
To zoom in or out, you may right-click and choose the option you desire.
Searching for locations:
If you would like to search for a location specifically, you may type in the name of the building in the box at the bottom right, and press "enter". This feature currently only recognizes exact names as they are listed on the map, so if you are unsure of a building's full name, it is recommended that you use one keyword, such as "science", "engineering", or "law". These searches will return a small number of results which you can quickly go through to find the building you are looking for.
This feature is currently being upgraded, so it should be even more comprehensive in the future!
