Admission Timeline
Admission into the incoming class is extremely competitive and applicants are strongly encouraged to submit their admissions application and all required documentation according to the following timeline. Qatar University will not accept applications after the published application deadline.
Spring 2012 Admissions Timeline:

| 22 January 2012 | Admission decisions available for Pharmacy, Law, Sharia, Education admits (UG & FP) |
| 23 January 2012 | Admission decisions available for Arts and Sciences admits (UG & FP) |
| 24 January 2012 | Admission decisions available for Business and Economics admits (UG & FP) |
| 25 January 2012 | Admission decisions available for Engineering admits (UG & FP) |
| 26 January 2012 | Admission decisions available for admits to all Colleges (UG & FP) |
| 26 January 2012 | Deadline for applicants to request an admissions exception |
| 2 February 2012 | Deadline for all External ACT, TOEFL, IELTS, IC3, SAT test scores and Academic Bridge Program transfer documents to be submitted to Foundation Program by new students |

Admission Decision
Students can collect their admission decision from the Admissions Department effective the date assigned by the college to which they applied. Students who do not qualify for admission into their desired college and/or major will have an opportunity to submit a change of major request after the admission decisions are announced. Applicants who reside outside of Qatar and who cannot personally collect their admissions decision from the Admissions Department are asked to contact the International Students Section for assistance.
