General Instructions:
- All exams shall be conducted in the classrooms in which instruction has taken place. Faculty must book classrooms in coordination with the Schedules Section.
- In case of a large number of students, the exam shall be conducted in the same fashion on in which test one and two were done, or course instructor may book one or more adjacent classrooms in coordination with Schedules Section. Such exam venues must be announced to students two weeks prior to exam date.
- Exams of practical courses shall take place at the time and venue of classes, during the last week of instruction before the date on which written exam shall be conducted.
- In the event that a course is taught on Monday and Wednesday and any other day, the final exam shall take place at the specified time, on Monday or Wednesday.
- The schedules section will send colleges the dates, times, and rooms of their final exams two weeks after the beginning of classes, based on table 1 below.
- Common Final Exam Rules:
- Changes for timing of the exam resulting from combining several groups of the same course, should be in accordance with the following criteria:
- Having an approval of the respective department.
- Groups of male students will not be added to female ones.
- Academic Departments are to announce the courses they wish to combine, and the schedules section will provide the exam date / time in a manner that minimizes exam conflicts for students.
- In case of conflict with a course that is predetermined by schedule (1) ,the department must take appropriate action to help the students.
