Any active student study in Qatar University is eligible to issue a QUID card.
There are two ways to request for a new QUID card,
- Apply online in the WebCard Center, the procedure illustrated in the following link: http://mycard.qu.edu.qa/student/how_to.php.
- Students can also visit the campus card section to capture a photo.
It takes maximum 2-3 minutes to capture a photo for the student and print it immediately and less in case of printing the online requested card.
A student need to present a valid Qatari ID/Passport to collect the campus card.
The card is valid for 4 years since the issue date.
A student in this case should go to the one step section that located in the admission and registration building (C12) to fill the modification form; when the name is corrected, the campus card section can then print the card with correct spelling.
Student can report online the lost card to deactivate the card by login to WebCard Center http://mycard.qu.edu.qa/student/local_login.php and in the left menu choose "Report Lost card"
A warning message will be appeared asking the student to confirm, kindly press "Yes" by this action the card will be deactivated. Student required visiting the section to issue a replacement.
Or visit the campus card section to issue a replacement. Charges will be applied.
The student must report online that he/she has found the lost QUID card to activate the card again on WebCard center website: http://mycard.qu.edu.qa/student/local_login.php, then press on Report Found Card in order to activate the card again.
The student needs to check the photo size [The acceptable photo size is 2" X 1.75"] and resolution of the photo as most of the current cameras generate a high resolution photo with large size hence; the system doesn't accept the photo. Otherwise, contact or visit the campus card section as soon as possible to fix the issue.
Photo can be rejected due to several reasons (sample in the photo below). Student is required to resubmit a new photo with criteria illustrated below.
Duplicated fees are automatically withdrawn. If this does not happen please contact the campus card section.
Visit the Alumni office that located in higher administration building (B01)- ground floor- office 123-126, To collect their membership card.
The discount booklet is available in the QU website through the link http://www.qu.edu.qa/alumni/services/community-discounts and QU mobile application.
Unfortunately, there is no credit will be removed, and the student has to pay for the amount that has been used.
Your previously issued One Card will be permanently cancelled and cannot be reactivated.
No, previously issued QUID cards cannot be reactivated.
In this case, you have to get both ID cards, a staff /faculty member ID and a student ID.
