Student Representative Board Elections 2020
Student Affairs Sector at Qatar University is in the process of organizing the elections for the new Student Representative Board at Qatar University 2020 (QUSRB) in its seventh cycle to allow students to vote democratically for the most qualified representative for each college. The importance of the Board lies within the fact that it represents the students of Qatar University and functions as a mediator between the students, faculty members, and QU administration. The Board also helps to serve the interest of the students by collaborating with the administration in decision-making. The total number of QUSRB members is 73, distributed in the following manner by college and gender:

Elections Campaigns starts on Tuesday, 27 October, 2020 till Wednesday 4 November, 2020. Every candidate is responsible of his/her own Election Campaign ONLINE; we welcome innovative and creative ideas.
Design Posters
- Each candidate has the right to create his own poster, and may contain the following:
- Full Name
- College he or she will be representing
- Personal Picture
- Email or Facebook address or twitter account (not essential)
- Message(s) to voters
- You may post your posters in the social – media accounts.
- Every Candidate has the right to design brochures or flyers that contains information about the plans and messages to voters.
- Every candidate has the right to do a short video for his/her message to the voters of his/her college.
Please note the following:
- Don’t use offensive language on the poster
- Don’t use personal contact numbers on the poster
Penalties:
The Elections Subcommittee has the right to take the appropriate action which may lead to dismissal of the applicant nomination, in case of violating any of the following:
- Intimidating another candidate in any way
- Violation of any Qatar University public policy
- Violation of any electoral process policy
Those who are willing to contribute to the advancement of Qatar University and benefit the students can review the QUSRB bylaws conditions of membership and nominate themselves through the myBanner Self-Service System as follows:

- Click on Electronic Nomination Application
- Read the instructions carefully
- Submit your nomination application
We encourages all undergraduate students to participate in the 2020 Colleges and QUSRB Boards Elections and vote for the candidates who they believe would better represent their views and interests.
All undergraduate students who are currently enrolled at QU have the opportunity to participate in the voting process via myBanner Self-Service System.
How to Vote?
- Go to myBanner Self-Service System
- Click on Student Services
- Click on Student Voting system
- Specify the candidates you chose
- Click Submit
- Confirm your choice
