    Description
    The “design thinking” track is a creative problem-solving course, that is based on the principles of design thinking. The course involves STEM activities, organized according to the three phases of the design thinking process: Empathy, Ideation, and Prototyping. It will help students develop a deep understanding of the problem that users face and empathize with them. Followingly, promote the students to brainstorm for solutions. And, finally, enrich them to design novel prototypes of potential applications, that are tested in a real-life scenario.
    Objectives
    • Students acquire various scientific knowledge, depending upon the module delivered.
    • Students design their products using the acquired scientific knowledge and thereby attain the skills of design thinking.
    • They learn the steps of design thinking and innovation.
    • Students are also acquainted with the presentation/ expression skills

    Duration: 4-5 practical sessions, followed by 1-2 months follow-up sessions
