Distance Writing and Language Support

In accordance with QU directives to pursue distance learning, the Section of Writing and Language Support at SLSC will continue to offer services to all QU undergraduate students online through the Microsoft Teams program.

There will be some adjustments to how we offer our writing/ language consultations and tutoring sessions considering current circumstances. They are as follows:

1. Students should continue using our appointment system at (http://writinglab.qu.edu.qa).
2. The specialist will contact the student to invite him/her to the session using Microsoft Teams, at the time of the appointment.
3. Sessions will remain interactive between the specialist and the student.

Important Guidelines:

1. Kindly make sure to download the program ‘Microsoft Teams’ to your computer. This is free and available to all QU students.
2. All assignments to be reviewed must be in a soft copy format.
3. Choose a quiet place and a suitable computer (not a mobile phone).
