كجزء من تطورنا المستقبلي في نشر ثقافة البحث العلمي بين الشباب، وتماشياً مع هدفنا المتمثل في الحفاظ على التراث والهوية الثقافية، فإن البيرق اتخذ هذا الاسم المستوحى من التراث العربي عنواناً له. خصوصاً وأن هؤلاء الشباب سيكونون نجوم الغد الذين يحملون (بيرق العلم) ويقودون الأمة لتحقيق رؤية قطر 2030 ، ويجعلون العالم بالنسبة لهم وبالنسبة للأجيال القادمة عالماً أفضل.
للبيرق اربعة محاور:

[*] البيرق: العلم الكبير أو الراية التي يحملها الجنود في الحرب. وحامل العلم يسمى المبورق. والبيرق رمز الشجاعة والتحدي والنصر ولذلك يحمله الجنود الشجعان عند الدفاع عن الأوطان.
Welcome to AL-Bairaq
As part of our future growth and in line with our objective of supporting Qatar's devotion to develop its knowledge-based economy, enrich its human capital ,and improve its competitiveness through innovation, entrepreneurship, and applied research, CAM launched "AL-Bairaq*", which derives its name from the large flag carried by soldiers in war. AL-Bairaq is considered a symbol of courage, defiance and victory... values that match the expected outcomes of the project, in which students are the stars of tomorrow world, carrying Qatar's Bairaq and lead the nation to achieve its distant future, contributing to make a better world for the new generations. AL-Bairaq learning system adopts curriculum integration. Where it is modules cover a blend of academic disciplines including, in addition to science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM fields), In addition to language and beauty of science.
AL-Bairaq has four main tracks:
- I am a Researcher
- I am Discovering Materials
- Science in Sport
- Solving Problems

[*] AL-Bairaq : Is a large flag carried by soldier in the war. The flag-bearer called Almbawrq. AL-Bairaq is a symbol of courage, defiance and victory. Therefore it is always holds by the brave soldiers when they defending one's homeland.
