Overview
The Environmental Engineering concentration integrates environmental principles into civil engineering applications.
Students gain expertise in areas such as:
- Natural water resources management (groundwater and surface waters)
- Water and wastewater treatment
- Seawater desalination
- Noise and vibration control
- Life cycle and environmental impact assessment

Concentration Requirements
Students in this concentration follow the same curriculum as the Civil Engineering program (131 credit hours). The difference lies in the choice of major electives and senior design courses, which are tailored to Environmental Engineering.
