Wired Network Services: High-speed, reliable wired network connectivity provided throughout the campus to support academic, administrative, and research activities.
Wireless Network Services: Comprehensive wireless coverage across all university buildings and public areas, enabling secure and convenient access for students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
VoIP Services: Modern IP-based telephony solutions offering voice communication, integrated with fax and SMS capabilities, supporting efficient and flexible communication across the university community.

Internet Services
This service provides all QU staff with high-speed internet access for teaching, learning, research, and business-related tasks. ITS provides the following support to manage internet access and utilization: Connectivity to internet sites and other resources from your PCs or mobile devices; Domain registration and management; Creation of temporary internet access accounts for conference and symposium use; Connectivity from QU to the Extranet of External Entities.
Wired Network Services
This service provides fast and secure network connectivity to the QU network and the internet. Network connectivity is available through fixed-line network access to the QU Local Area Network (LAN) and internet through wall outlets.
Wireless Network Services
This service provides fast and secure wireless network connectivity to the QU network and the internet. From a number of indoor and outdoor locations throughout QU campus. Guest Wireless - wireless connectivity to the internet for all visitors EduRoam - wireless service allowing visiting staff from participating EduRoam institutions or traveling QU staff access to high-speed internet services free.
QU Device Registration Portal
The QU Device Registration Portal is a user-friendly web-based platform that allows Qatar University students, faculty, staff to securely register their devices for network access. The portal enables self-service onboarding, allowing users to connect their laptops, smartphones, and other devices to the university’s secure network. It supports upto 8 devices per user (wired and wireless).
QU VoIP Telephone Services
ITS Telephone Services is responsible for administering telephone and mobile communication services to meet the business needs of QU staff and external suppliers. These services include: Landline extension maintenance; Installation of new telephone connections; Management and maintenance of the QU core telephony system; Voicemail services; Mobile VoIP Services; Telephone moves and disconnections.
