This Business Consortium, a key component of the ESI 2025 conference, aims to foster collaboration between academic institutions and industry leaders to harness cutting-edge technologies for bolstering economic resilience. By integrating industry insights with practical applications, this initiative seeks to accelerate innovation, enhance competitiveness, and address complex economic challenges. Emphasizing the importance of knowledge exchange and joint ventures, the program aspires to create sustainable solutions that drive economic growth and societal well-being. The Business consortium will include four complementary sessions to cover the frontier technologies in the economic sectors. The event will bring together academics, industry experts, policymakers, and community leaders to share research, foster partnerships, and address contemporary challenges.
Key Objectives of the Business Consortium
The primary objectives derived from the previously outlined pillars for a business consortium focusing on financial services, agriculture, education, health, industrial and petrochemical sectors, as well as government services and the public sector, include:
- To identify opportunities and challenges in the adoption of frontier technologies across key sectors.
- To facilitate collaboration between academia, industry, and policymakers.
- To foster the development of innovative solutions for resilient economic growth.
- To highlight the importance of developing robust digital infrastructure and data-driven decision making: Invest in digital public infrastructure and utilize data analytics to enhance service delivery, inform policy development, and improve resource allocation across government services and the public sector.
