Poster Competition


1. Eligibility :

  • Open to all conference attendees, including researchers ,students, industry professionals, and organizations.
  • Posters must focus on sustainability-related topics.
  • Both individuals and teams (up to 3 members) can participate.

2. Submission Requirements :

  • Abstract length: [e.g., 250–300 words]
  • Format: [e.g., MS Word / PDF, Times New Roman, 12pt, single spacing]
  • Important: Please clearly mention in your abstract submission whether you are applying for an Oral Presentation or a Poster Presentation.

3. Judging Criteria :

Posters will be evaluated based on:

  • Clarity & Organization – Well-structured content and readability.
  • Scientific/Technical Rigor – Depth and accuracy of research or innovation.
  • Sustainability Impact – Relevance to sustainability goals.
  • Visual Appeal – Effective use of design, images, and layout.
  • Presentation & Engagement – Ability to explain and discuss the topic effectively.

4. Award Categories, 3 awards in each 4 disciplines- Energy, Environment, Biomedical, Engineering :

  • 🏆 1st Place: QR 1000 + Certificate + Featured as the official logo of the conference
  • 🏆 2nd Place: QR 500 +Certificate + Featured as the official logo of the conference
  • 🏆 3rd Place: Certificate + Featured as the official logo of the conference

5. General Rules :

  • Posters must be original and properly cite any sources used.
  • Plagiarism or misleading information will result in disqualification.
  • Posters should align with the conference theme and promote sustainability values .
  • Winners will be announced at the Awards Ceremony.

The conference committee reserves the right to share all selected posters on social media platforms



Social Media Competition

Theme: "Sustainable Materials: Shaping a Greener Future"

Create a short, engaging video that highlights the role of sustainable materials in addressing global environmental challenges.

1. Eligibility :

  • Open to students, professionals, and content creators worldwide.
  • Individual or team entries (max 3 members).
  • Up to 2 video entries per participant/team.

2. Submission Guidelines :

  • Duration : Maximum 1 minute
  • Format : MP4/MOV (good video and audio quality)
  • Content : High;ight you novel work/research in a clear and engaging manner
  • Submission Email/Link ICASM2025@qu.edu.qa
  • Note The organizing committee reserves the right to edit, modify, or use submitted videos for promotional accross ICASM2025 platforms

Submission Deadline: 20th Aug 2025

4. Selection Process :

  • All approved videos will be posted on the official conference social media channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube of the Conference.
  • The video with the most likes/reactions by 1th Nov will win.

4. Award Categories :

  • 🏆 1st Place: : QR 1000 + Certificate + Featured as the official logo of the conference.
  • 🏆 2nd Place: : QR 500 + Certificate + Featured as the official logo of the conference.
  • 🏆 3rd Place: Certificate + Featured as the official logo of the conference.

5. General Rules :

  • Entries must be original and copyright-free.
  • Content should be respectful, inclusive, and relevant to the theme.
  • By submitting, you give ICASM 2025 the right to use your video for educational and promotional purposes.
  • Reactions on the official conference social media channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube) will determine the final decision.

Student Oral Competition

1. Overview :

Students are encouraged to take part in the Student Oral Presentation Competition at the ICASM 2025 Conference—an excellent platform to highlight meaningful research and innovative contributions to sustainability. A total of 13 students from each category—Undergraduate, Graduate, and Ph.D.—will be selected to present their work in the competition. All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the committee, and authors of the selected abstracts will be notified via email. Selected participants must then submit their presentations in accordance with the guidelines provided below.

2. Eligibility :

  • Open to undergraduate, graduate and PhD students. Student id must be submitted during the abstract submission.
  • Presentation must be based on original research or projects related to sustainability.

3. Presentation Format:

  • Each student will deliver a 5-minute oral presentation.
  • A brief Q&A 5minutes) may follow each talk.

4. Abstract Submission Guidelines:

  • Abstract length: [e.g., 250–300 words]

5. Presentation Format :

  • Presentations must be prepared using Microsoft PowerPoint (16:9 format).
  • Please name your file as Abstract number_Presenting author name (E.g. 59_Muhammad Hadi)
  • If using videos or multimedia, please ensure files are embedded and compatible

6. Judging Criteria :

Final presentations will be judged on:

  • Content and depth of research
  • Clarity and organization
  • Engagement and delivery
  • Relevance to sustainability
  • Time management

4. Award Categories :
