Over the past few years, this annual event has become a valuable platform through which researchers, academics, and industry professionals discuss the latest trends and advances in materials science and engineering. The symposium’s objective is to promote dialogue and exchange of ideas among experts from various disciplines and identify prospects for future interdisciplinary collaboration. The theme for this year’s event is “Innovative Materials for Mitigating Climate Change Impacts”. This year’s theme aligns well with Qatar’s 2030 National Vision to develop a sustainable and diversified knowledge-based economy by addressing challenges and opportunities associated with climate change. It also highlights how immensely materials science and engineering can contribute to societal development.
