The Biomedical Sciences (BMS) program at Qatar University is a four-year Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree offered by the Department of Biomedical Sciences within the College of Health Sciences (CHS). The curriculum follows a 2+2 structure, in which students complete 33 credit hours of core courses along with compulsory major-supporting requirements during the first two years of study.
The final two Years focus on major-Clinical BMS courses. The program also includes 15 weeks of clinical practice, comprising five clinical practicum courses (Chemistry, Immunology, Hematology, Immunohematology, Microbiology). During these rotations, students gain hands-on experience by rotating through various clinical laboratory sections at our Clinical Affiliates.
