    Clearance

To obtain a clearance from the Housing Department as part of the clearance procedures with the Human Resources Department, the Staff Housing Department conducts a comprehensive inventory of the housing unit in the presence of the resident employee. This is to identify any damages, missing items, or required maintenance, ensuring the avoidance of any future disputes.

The University may deduct any due amounts from the end-of-service gratuity to cover fines, damages to the housing unit, or restoration costs, according to the assessment of the University Staff Housing Department. The resident is also obligated to vacate the housing unit within a maximum period of one month from their last working day. In case of non-compliance, the university has the right to deduct the rental value for the period of delay. The resident must also settle all outstanding bills and provide clearance certificates from the concerned authorities such as Kahramaa and district cooling companies (if any), as part of completing the clearance procedures.
